Started as a rusty stock bike that sat for years and had not run in awhile. Customer brought it to me originally to get it running. Started with a full rebuild and tune to get it running right then we moved on to cosmetics.
We wanted to update the bikes looks but didn't want to ruin the stock shape.
Did a 3 inch chop on the stock seat and re-upholstered it. 3 inch drop on rear shocks, 2 inch drop on front forks. modified kickstand for the height difference, blacked out the engine and carbs, repainted frame gloss black. low-rise drag bars over the enormous stock bars. Blacked out the front and rear fenders. Square turn signals replaced with 70s era round signals. rear tail light unit was completely swapped out for a Triumph Bonneville tail light unit. The customer painted the bike himself and it came out very nice, the metallic gold is not too bold and not too pale. I think it works pretty well. The headlight ring is distressed gold to match the designs on his helmet.

Heres the "before" shot. Somewhat clean of a bike, but not running, bad rectifier, carbs seized up in the CV slides, electrical problems in the handlebar controls. Also the owner is fairly short and really needed the bike lowered to a point where he could flat foot it.
